I never thought it was possible to love another warm beverage the way I love coffee. But, this Easy Matcha Latte certainly has a permanent, well-deserved place in my heart.
Matcha is a finely ground powder made from green tea leaves. Think concentrated green tea.
Similar to coffee, matcha contains caffeine but without the jitters. Making it a good alternative to those who are caffeine sensitive. It provides a clean burst of energy that actually last longer than that from a traditional cup of coffee.
This Easy Matcha Latte is made with just 3 ingredients. Many store-bought types are made with flavored syrups and sometimes contain no real matcha at all.
If you are new to the world of Matcha, I suggest starting slow with this Easy Matcha Latte recipe. Made with any plant-based milk of your choice and sweetened to your liking.
You don’t need a special frother or machine to get a deliciously crafted latte at home. Jitter free!
